MMFL Clinic Info
The Minnesota Metro Fast-Pitch League is pleased to
announce the 2nd Annual MMFL Winter Extravaganza at
the Holy Angels Dome in Richfield, Minnesota. The
Extravaganza will run from Saturday, December 26th
to Wednesday, December 30th. The MMFL Winter
Extravaganza has four separate events. There is a
Coaches Clinic, Players Clinic and Skills Contest
for players 8-14, Players Clinic and College Showcase
for our players 15-18 and the MMFL Winter Bash Tournament.
The Extravaganza will kick off with the Coaches Clinic on
Saturday, December 26th from 9:00am-1:00pm in Holy Angels
High School. The clinic will move to the Holy Angels Stardome
on Sunday, December 27th from 11:00am-3:00pm. We have a F
ANTASTIC group of clinicians that includes John Tschida
(University of St. Thomas), Julie Standering (University of
Minnesota), Shane Bouman (University of Iowa), Tim Gormley
(Augsburg University), Jim Rubbelke (Hamline University) and
Greta Melstad (Augustana College) and many more. The cost
for the Coaches Clinic is only $100.00.
The Players Clinic and Skills Contest for players ages 8-14
will run on Saturday, December 26th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in
the Holy Angels Stardome. Saturday will be spent working with
College Coaches and Players as well as some of Minnesota's best
coaches. The clinic will continue on Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm
and will wrap up with the Skills Contest with ribbons and prizes.
The cost for the Players Clinic and Skills Contest is only $100.00.
The Players Clinic and College Showcase for players ages 15-18 will
run on Saturday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in the Holy Angels Stardome.
Saturday will be spent working with College Coaches and Players as
well as some of Minnesota's best coaches. On Sunday from 3:00pm to
7:00pm, the players will be able to show their stuff to dozens of
college coaches. Players will fill out forms with information for
the college coaches and will also be able to let the coaches know
if they are interested in their schools. The cost for the Players
Clinic and College Showcase is only $100.00.
The MMFL Winter Bash Tournament kicks off on Monday, December 28th
and runs until Wednesday, December 30th. Teams will be guaranteed
3 games for a cost of $360.00. Teams wanting to play 6 games can
do so for $700.00. Teams will be placed in either 4, 6 or 8 team
brackets. We will also offer discounts for Community or Club
Organizations. If an organization has 10 or more players in either
of the clinics they will receive a 10% discount. Also, organizations
that send 5 or more coaches will also receive a 10% discount. Space
is limited so signing up early is advised.
